Look, I’m an Asian mom raising a kid in Hong Kong, so let’s be real—the pressure is alive and well. But I’m not a Tiger Mom (my blood pressure can’t take it), and I’m definitely not a Helicopter Mom (I have a full-time job; I physically do not have the time to hover). Instead, I’m just trying to find that mythical, golden 'balance' between local academic survival and letting my kid actually have a REAL childhood.
